I thought you would be interested to know the following...it is 9.45am Sunday morning and I am watching BBC1's Sunday Morning review of the week... various guests and reviews of the Sunday papers... John Major, former Prime Minister is being interviewed and has just mentioned Gordon Brown's 'selling of the UK's Gold as being one of two reasons why the Labour Government is now facing such serious trouble'....he refers to this as Labours Golden Tuesday! (a clear comparison to the Conservatives Black Wednesday over the ERM crisis) ..however,
he went on to say that the losses in selling the Gold are now far greater than the losses on Black Wednesday because of the current high price of Gold! No doubt other Cafe Members will give you a better account of what was said....could Major know what GATA knows?!
