While the graphics lack Salinas Price's
alternately brilliant and humorous narration,
they clearly convey his proposal to reintroduce
silver as circulating coinage in Mexico -- a
proposal that seems to have gained
substantial and perhaps even majority
support in the Mexican Congress.
Like South Africa and Russia, Mexico is a rich
country that insists on being poor -- a country
that could use its vast mineral wealth to
underwrite its currency and restore its national
sovereignty but instead submits meekly to the
imperialism of a "world reserve currency" that
is controlled not by the world but by a single
country -- the U.S. dollar.
